songs of the yesterday

We went to fix the car cd player the other day. He had got a his car but doesn't want the player and just right that mine is broken. so he thought of replacing it with mine. well...i'm alright with it. something extra wouldn't hurt.

but just too bad that the plugs are different. sony and clarion. so we just leave it be and took the cds down. He's got my ori in his player while I took back the pirated ones. Those were the ones I burnt last 2 years.

Amazingly, now is year 2008 already. and 2 years went passed just like that. everything seems good. a friend who is out in UK is soon to come home. I guess he will too.

Just somehow when i listen to those cds, the memories came flooding back. memories of the years left behind.

Hmm...it was bitter sweet and that was what making it memorable. The memories weren't clear...they enter my mind like a fuzzy display on some old TV sets. Things were not so clear and even till this day at the time of typing, they are not too.

But it isn't important now.

It was not in the past so why would it be now. I just hope that he would find a better future. (Of course, I highly hope that my future would be better..HAHA)

Yea...whatever it is....no point reminiscing someone who is so uncool and unappreciative.

p.s: pretty scaring on how songs can invoke long memories. and also...emotions. I guess the wound is only partially healed and the current medication is not helpful enough. But one thing for sure. I never regret.

Move onto another thing.

I'd like to blog about fortune tellers.

Wow...you will be amazed on how much they earn during these hard times. See..they don't have to pay additional tax and they work from home. And superstitious people go flocking to him.

Hehe...I can't say that I'm 100% not superstitious. I believe that there are something beyond Human strength and ability out there and there are this group of people with unique gifts who are said to possess the Third Eye or able to foresee the future.

I believe there are people with these talents. Yet, nowadays you can hardly find a honest one. You find a lot of fakes and in this sea filled with deceit, it's just difficult to find one whom you can trust.

My grandfather knew of a fortune teller who can really peer into a person's future. That was so many years back and I doubt that he is still alive though.

Anyways...there went the other day when I visited this fortune teller with my friends. bloody 80 bucks for a fortune to be told. hahaa..there's nothing like in the movies where they only tell your fortune if you are fated to know them. I mean...c'mon...anything now can be bought with money.

So I just join in the fun and see if I could get myself amused....checking out to see if this is a fake or real. (Many clairvoyants are experts in reading body languages and catching cues in order for them to make predictions which are claimed to be true)

My friends say that he is very accurate with his predictions. Well, I'm keeping a neutral opinion. I couldn't say that he is accurate but some of the things he said was true. Perhaps he was able to tell from my dressing and the way i acted or the way I spoke to him.

I was keeping quiet from the moment I enter the room, giving him the time to tell my fortunes. I was being very quiet and only nodded and laugh when necessary --just to not let him felt like an idiot talking to the wall.
LOL.

Anyways...I thought the books (used to help the diviner to foresee future/past/etc) are no doubt genuine and perhaps, this old man is gifted but he is just not too good in interpreting them.

For one, he said that my dad holds high managerial or government post...uhmm..nope
second, I was said to be prone to injuries on my legs but heck...my legs have never been better. I was so flexible that even if i was on a wrong footing, I didn't sprain them.
third, when i asked him about my characteristic, he didn't tell me much more than me being a hardworking and a person who know how to save (very well). this i guess he could see when he saw me and oni-chan holding books when we went into the living room.
fourth, I asked if my life was destined to be elsewhere, as in if I would have what chinese called the luck to travel.
he told me no and said however, I did travel last year. uhm..too bad, that was this year...not last.

He didn't tell me much on my past, unlike a friend of mine whom got her past accurately being told by this man. Perhaps he couldn't make very good guesses due to my lack of co-operation. So, he talked mostly on my future. But interestingly, if he is good, he could have knew what matters most in my life. Instead of telling me on my career path, he choose to talk to me about my relationships.

To end, events are fated to happen but the future is for you to design.

Well...nothing binds me to anything and if I do listen to fortune-tellers, then I have already admitted defeat and willingly but unconsciously realizing the told future.
